History

Dr. Isabelle Farmer was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, a suburb of Paris, at the American Hospital. Her parents met during WWII after the D-Day Invasion and subsequent liberation of Paris by the Allies. Dr. Randy Farmer was born in Amarillo, Texas, and grew up in Austin, Texas. Both doctors attended Texas A&M University before being admitted to the University of Texas Dental School in Houston, Texas, and graduating in 1983 (Isabelle) and 1984 (Randy). They met while they were both in dental school. The doctors have been married since 1981. After practicing in Plano, Texas, for 23 years, they moved back to Houston in 2006 and bought Dr. Stephen Loebl’s practice in 2007.

Our Philosophy

Both doctors were trained to think in pieces and parts. And although they received a very good educational foundation to be a skilled dentist, both at Texas A&M University and The University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, they have come to understand that people are not a collection of pieces and parts. This happened as a result of doing thousands of hours of continuing education in and out of the field of dentistry. This is why you see extra letters after their D.D.S. Dr. Isabelle is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry as is Dr. Randy. In addition, Dr. Randy is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Their focus over time has become the treatment primarily of adults who are in need of a wide variety of dental services including implants, cosmetic crowns, porcelain veneers, dentures, and root canals, to name just a few. The practice offers a caring and gentle approach, we and welcome new patients with warmth and without judgment. Whatever the problems may be, we are interested in getting them fixed so our patients can have healthy mouths.
